A visit to the Luxor and Karnak temples is not just an archaeological trip, but rather a live encounter with the greatest pages of Egyptian civilization and the immortal memory of Thebes; between the grandeur of architecture and the splendor of inscriptions.
You will be picked up from your hotel or residence at 7:00 PM. You will be transferred to the East Bank of Luxor. Our first stop will be the Karnak Temple, the largest in all of Egypt.
Its circumference extends 2,400 meters, dominating the Luxor landscape Inspired by the splendor of the New Kingdom, this temple was built by 67 pharaohs over a period of more than 2,000 years, and was finally dedicated to the sun god Ra.
Our second stop will be the Luxor Temple, the city’s most important landmark and the second largest after Thebes. Numerous pharaohs had a hand in its construction, including Ramses II, Ramses III, and Amenhotep II.
It was finally completed in the 20th century BC and dedicated to the god Amun. The tour concludes with a return trip to your hotel.
