Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara

Discover Egypt’s treasures in one day: the majestic Giza Pyramids, the ancient city of Memphis, and the iconic Step Pyramid of Saqqara.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and head to Giza, a city 20 kilometers from Cairo.

then we’ll spend three hours enjoying unforgettable sights—the Sphinx and the country’s three largest and most famous pyramids, built for the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.

For lunch, we’ll stop to enjoy a typical menu, including, among other dishes, delicious grilled chicken kebab with vegetables, hummus, tahini, and Arabic bread. For dessert, we’ll enjoy sweet pastries and a refreshing fruit salad.

We’ll then head to the Saqqara necropolis, one of the most important links to ancient Egyptian history, where you can see, among other things, the Pyramid of Djoser: the first of Egypt’s great pyramids. At Saqqara, we’ll also visit the tomb of the vizier, Muhu, which recently opened to the public for the first time since its discovery in the 1940s. This high-ranking official of the Sixth Dynasty was buried with special honors, far from the reach of tomb robbers, meaning the hieroglyphs that adorned it remain exceptionally well preserved.

Our final stop will be in Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, a true open-air museum where you can see, among other artifacts, the stunning 83-ton, 11-meter-tall statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Great Sphinx.

Finally, we will return to the hotel.
