We will pick you up from your hotel to explore the lush landscape of the Fayoum Oasis.

The oasis extends over a vast area near the canals of the Nile River. The ancient Egyptians were well aware of the importance of this location, as evidenced by the Medium Pyramid, one of the oldest pharaonic pyramids, dating back to around 2600 BC.

We will then pass through Fayoum City and finally reach Lake Qarun, one of the most important areas of the oasis. Its salty waters lie below sea level and cover a vast area of hundreds of square kilometers. On its banks, we will visit the archaeological site of Kas Qarun, an ancient settlement that still houses temples and forts from various historical periods.

Afterwards, we will have lunch on the shores of Lake Qarun, where we can admire the rich local fauna, especially its large numbers of birds. In the evening, we will return to Cairo hotels.
