Highlights

  • You can cancel the trip for free, provided that it is 48 hours before the trip. In the event of cancellation after that or failure to show up, no refund will be given.
  • The itinerary is subject to change, but all the mentioned visits will be carried out. Depending on your arrival day, you can visit Cairo first and then take the cruise, or vice versa.

Day 1

We will meet you at the airport to assist you with your visa and travel procedures. We will then transfer you to your hotel and arrange for you to dine at one of the capital's restaurants.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx in the famous archaeological complex located on the outskirts of the city. Immerse yourself in the culture and history of Egypt, then embark on a trip to Memphis and Saqqara - the ruins of ancient Cairo. After lunch, we will return to your hotel to relax before enjoying a night tour of Cairo. This tour includes a stop at the famous Maraya Café, and we will conclude with a taste of delicious traditional local cuisine.

Day 3

The third day of our tour is dedicated to visiting the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque, and Khan el-Khalili Market. In this maze of thousand-year-old street stalls, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, smells, and artisanal culture of Cairo, rich in jewelry, perfumes, and musical instruments. The tour will then continue with a discovery of Cairo's history at the Egyptian Museum and the Coptic Quarter, before you are transferred back to your hotel.

Day 4

Breakfast, then head to the airport to board your flight to Aswan, Egypt's southernmost city, known to the ancient Egyptians as the site of the quarries where they mined stones to create their colossal statues. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel where you will rest until the next day.

Day 5

In the morning of Day 5, we will stop for pickup from your hotel and then head to your cruise ship, which will take you on a tour of the Nile River for the next few days. Our first stop will be the Temple of Philae, located on an island in the Nile. Built in the first century AD, this temple is considered the last of the classical Egyptian temples, honoring the goddess Isis, and remains remarkably well preserved to this day. Next, because no trip to Aswan is complete without a visit to the Temple of Abu Simbel, we'll visit these famous temples carved into the red rock in the 13th century BC, and the colossal statues of Ramses II that stand guard over them. We'll then return to the boat and spend the evening aboard.

Day 6

We'll cruise down the Nile on our way to Kom Ombo. We'll disembark at sunset in this beautiful riverside town to explore its historic temple. Dating from the Ptolemaic period, this temple is distinguished by its dual design and dual dedication, with duplicate rooms dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. We'll then return to the boat for dinner and relaxation while we cruise down the Nile toward Edfu.

Day 7

In the morning, we'll visit the Temple of Edfu, the second largest temple in the country and one of the best-preserved. A tour inside one of the main temples dedicated to the god Horus will teach us about the history and significance of the mysterious murals that adorn its walls. We'll then return to the boat, cross the lock, and head toward Luxor.

Day 8

We'll head to Luxor, where we'll enjoy an activity-packed day in what was formerly known as Thebes, the capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom. Here, we'll visit Karnak, Luxor Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. Our final stop will be the world-famous Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of most of the New Kingdom pharaohs. After exploring Luxor, we'll head to Hurghada, where we'll stay at the hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Day 9

After a busy day exploring Luxor, you'll enjoy a relaxing 24-hour stay in Hurghada, Egypt's most beautiful beach resort. Located on the shores of the Red Sea, you'll spend the day relaxing and enjoying the resort's facilities.

Day 10

We'll continue exploring Hurghada, enjoying fun activities according to the flight schedule.

Day 11

The last day depends on your international flight. If you leave Cairo early, we will return early from Hurghada, and if the return flight is in the evening, you can walk around a little early in the morning and then return to Cairo to prepare for the return flight.
